The system operates with a minimum of 3 wings. If the wings are to be collected on one side when opened, the number of wings must be an odd number (such as 3,5,7). When the number of wings is even in number (such as 4,6,8), one wing is collected on one side and the other wings are collected in the opposite direction.
A 6-wing system can be made as 1+5, or it can be made with 3 wings on the right and 3 wings on the left.
